    APGET Short Webinar on ICG for Gynecologic Malignancy

    Indocyanine green (ICG) is used most often in the setting of oncology, endometriosis, and other gynecological conditions to identify sentinel lymph nodes (SLN) using near-infrared light in endometrial, cervical, and vulvar cancers.     The APGET Short Webinar on Contained Morcellation

    Morcellation is commonly used in gynaecologic surgery to the allow removal of large uterine specimens. Contained morcellation is a technically feasible, efficient, and safe method for the extraction of tissue in laparoscopic surgery.

    HKGES-APGET Joint Webinar (I) - Morcellation and Specimen Retrieval Techniques in MIS

    The APGET Short Webinar on Basic Pelvic Neuroanatomy and its Clinical Application

     

    Neuropelveology is an emerging discipline focusing on pathologies of the pelvic nervous system on a cross-disciplinary basis.     The APGET Short Webinar on Anatomy and Basic Techniques for Pelvic Lymph Node Dissection and Modified Radical Hysterectomy for Endometrial Cancer

    Pelvic lymph node dissection is one of the leading surgical procedures in gynecologic oncology practice. It is an operation done to remove lymph nodes from the pelvis, usually done at the same time as the operation to remove the uterus.

    Dr. TJ Kim is the Associate Professor of the O&G Department at Samsung Medical Centre in South Korea. He has interests in clinical trials concerning innovative MIS (Robot, NOTES, LESS), ovarian cancer prevention, and chemotherapy. He is the first surgeon who started single-port laparoscopy, NOTES, and single-site da Vinci surgery in South Korea. He has led single institutional and multi-institutional randomized clinical trials in the minimally invasive surgical field. His published articles on single-port surgery were the most cited.
     

    Dr. Won Duk Joo is the Associate Professor of the O&G Department at Cha Hospital in South Korea. He was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences at Yale University School of Medicine in the US.
