Advanced Pelvic Anatomy & Surgical Precision

Target Audience

This intensive course is designed for gynecologists who wish to solidify their anatomical foundation and elevate their laparoscopic and arthroscopic surgical skills.

Purpose of Training

To bridge the gap between theoretical anatomical knowledge and practical surgical execution in minimally invasive gynaecology. By focusing on Advanced Pelvic Anatomy & Surgical Precision, this course aims to:

·     Master Retroperitoneal Anatomy: Demystify the complex avascular spaces of the pelvis, giving surgeons the confidence to map critical landmarks, trace the ureter, and safely isolate major pelvic vessels.

·     Enhance Surgical Safety: Provide deep structural insights to significantly reduce intraoperative complications, nerve injuries, and unintended vascular damage during complex laparoscopic procedures.

·     Refine Advanced Techniques: Elevate practical skills in tissue handling, dissection, and intracorporeal suturing through high-fidelity, hands-on repetition.

Course Features

• Lectures and hands-on skill training on a cadaver
• Provide high-quality anatomy teaching on a cadaver that focuses on a laparoscopic approach to pelvic anatomy

Methods of the Training

• Didactic lectures & Hands-on practices on a cadaver.  During the hands-on session, participants will be divided into small groups, and the trainers will provide support & guidance for each station.
