Target Audience

This intensive training course is designed to help junior gynecologic surgeons to advance laparoscopic skills, to understand the advantages and difficulties of laparoscopic suturing, to acquire practical and theoretical skills related to laparoscopic suturing, and to learn tips and tricks to enhance the suturing process and make it more efficient.

Purpose of Training

• Principles of Laparoscopic suturing and training on laparoscopic suturing.
• Principles of laparoscopic contained morcellation.
• Principles of the use of energy devices during laparoscopic surgery.

Course Features

• Lectures and hands on skill training on models, animal tissues and animals in innovative technology centre.
• Provide high quality anatomy teaching on animal that focus on a laparoscopic approach to pelvic anatomy.

After the training, the successful participant will be

• Understand the principles of laparoscopic suturing and be able to perform laparoscopic suturing.
• Able to do contained morcellation.

Methods of the Training

• Classroom lectures & Hands-on practices with models, animal tissues and animals. During hands on session, participants will be divided into small groups and the trainers will support & guidance for each station.
